Partnership Opportunities

How would you like to partner with a wet market company? It is in times like this pandemic where people realize how crucial it is to have a basic goods business. And nothing is as basic as a wet market.

As our partner, we are offering equity and profit sharing for each wet market that we open. Profit sharing every quarter is standard practice for us. This is to make sure that you are aware of how the business is doing and more importantly that you get your return as soon as possible. And if we’re looking to purchase real estate for the wet market, your contribution will be put in actual land and improvement. So whatever happens you are part owner of a company that owns commercial land.

The way we see it each industry or subcategory of companies in the Philippines has a leader. Just the mention of the industry, i.e. bookstore, drugstore, fast food, banking, retail shopping malls, and there would already be 1-2 companies that clearly come to mind as a leader in their respective industries.

But there’s no leader when it comes to wet markets. There’s no wet market chain that dominates and it’s rare to find a sector that’s leaderless. We aim to be the leading wet market chain in the country.

We believe that palengkes will always be relevant. There will always be people who patronize palengkes and even more so when times are hard. Past experience has proven that times of crisis are times when palengkes thrive; there are more people who’re looking to save even a little. The current situation with the Coronavirus has also shown the business’s resilience, we didn’t close at all during the whole quarantine period. And that says a lot about the business we’re in.

As a company, we have more than a decade’s worth of experience in managing wet markets. And we’re ready to get our hands dirty, being in the palengke daily to build relationships with our tenants and their customers. And this is our advantage. We have the secret sauce in managing a successful palengke.

Admittedly, we have lofty goals. We want to open 1-2 branches in a year. We want to become a publicly traded company in 6-8 years. We want to be the standard that all other palengkes are held up to. Our ambition is high but they’re achievable.

But we also know that it’s impossible to do on our own. We would need people who believe in our vision to join us on this journey.
